The Dojo-Cho (head of the school) is Shmuel (Samuel) who, until recently, was the assistant teacher for the sword school at Komyozan-Dojo and senior upper-classperson for the Aikido class which is closely linked with this sword style. He was honored in 2012 with a teaching certificate and charged with sharing his learning with others and a new generation. He is the first of the 5th generation of teachers for the MuTo Ryu style and has studied extensively in the North West under Kimbal Anderson-Sensei of Komyozan Dojo. In March of 2015 Shmuel was gifted with a black belt in Aikido from Anderson-Sensei.
